Cardinal Angelo Scola

Cardinal Scola served as the Archbishop of Milan, Italy’s largest diocese, and was previously Patriarch of Venice. A respected theologian with roots in the Communion and Liberation movement, he was considered a major papal contender during the 2013 conclave. Though now retired, he continues to contribute to Church thought through writings and public discourse.
